Inspired by Courtney Love’s 1990’s nightgown dressing and vintage 1940’s sandals, the COACH design team created an ethereal look for Selena Gomez at New York City’s biggest fashion event of the year.
to the party…
We sent Selena off to the gala in an elegant 1940’s inspired sandal using a single sole stiletto heel construction and peep toe last. The sandal was embellished in mini pin studs and materialized with mixed metallics, exotics, and spazzolato leather.
to the after-party…
For the after-party we created a fun sandal using a 1970’s inspired platform sandal construction. The styles were embellished with cute knotted leather details and mixed studs inspired by the newest season’s handbag styles.
