The high-top sneaker.
Warm and inviting fur-lined high top sneakers to keep you cozy and comfortable.
the low-top sneaker.
Taking our Coach girl back to school with these varsity inspired kicks.
SPRING 2016
COACH takes us for a walk on The High Line. The High Line is located on the west side of Manhattan along old railway tracks and is one of the most enjoyable examples of industrial repurposing in the city. The 2016 show marked the 75th Anniversary of COACH and was an opportunity for the brand to showcase it’s purely American style in a fresh exciting way in one of the cities newest parks.
THE COWBOY BOOT.
Patchwork and floral styles walked the runway lending a fresh new approach to the cowboy boot.
THE SNEAKER.
What could be more American than the sneaker? A staple in every girl’s wardrobe, this style was reinvented using a pointed toe last, western pattern details, mixed floral and animal prints, and a splash of glitter.
FALL 2015
COACH takes us to the streets of New York inspired by girl gangs and moto styling in America from the 1950s to the 1980s adding a rock and roll edge to the brand’s image.
THE MOTO BOOT.
This style was inspired by vintage combat and biker boots. We put a twist on the style adding shearling lining, turnlock hardware, an extra heavy sole, strap and buckle details, and a heavy textured leather.
THE METALLIC PUMP.
Original cool girl of the Lower East Side and style icon, Debbie Harry was no doubt the inspiration behind this edgy kitten heel metallic pump.
Spring 2015
Youthful, playful, and a bit twisted. This season was not your classic take on a classic American brand. Clogs and shower slides in bright acidy colors and high heeled slingbacks with metallic nail polish color studs walked the runway once again shaking things up for the COACH image. A collaboration with artist Gary Baseman also brought a touch of whimsy with his comic book creatures and inspired prints.
THE CLOG.
A not so classic take on a classic style. The clog was a favorite of the season with wood soles painted in bright acid purple, orange, and green. Metallic and pale pastel uppers with natural wood bottoms added another twist on the clog.
THE SHOWER SLIDE.
Coach’s answer to the cool girl style of the season, our shower slide combined the classic wood sole of a clog with uppers that had playful colors, embellishments, and prints from Gary Baseman.
THE SLINGBACK.
Retro cool. This slingback pulls nostalgia from our mother’s closets, but inspires new excitement and desire with its fresh colors and extra chunky flared heel.
Fall 2014
In the brand’s first-ever runway show creative director and team dove into the brand’s distinct and undeniable Americanness. Looking to classics like jean jackets and workwear styling, the show won rave reviews with fresh twists on these functional and utilitarian but still desirable pieces. The backdrop for the show was of a suburban scene in the late 1970s from artist Joel Sternfeld’s “American Prospects”.
THE URBAN HIKER.
The Urban Hiker became the style of the season with its functional but fun take on workwear boots, giving the It-Girl a boot to stomp out the NYC winters in. The Urban Hiker also became a classic Coach style that would see several re-inventions in coming retails seasons with new embellishments and even appearing as a rainboot.
THE MOCCASIN WEDGE.
Cozy and cool. The moccasin style is another style that became a classic for Coach. Undeniably American and a must in every girl’s wardrobe, we embellished this style with turncock hardware, shearling, and woven details.
THE ROPER.
Classic with an edge. We added a zipper embellishment, heavier sole, and colorblock uppers to this style to make sure to kick off the season right.
